    • "Does this mean that you only write for companies that are 'green'?"

      Not necessarily. My goal is to establish socially responsible businesses as my primary clientele. However, approximately 20 percent of my clients are entrepreneurs, non-profits, NGO's, and small businesses.

    • "What are your rates?"

      That depends. My rates are determined by the project. Some copywriting projects are charged by the hour but most are quoted a flat fee. Each project has different requirements and, therefore, will incur a different fee. For more information or to request a free quote, feel free to send me details about your copywriting project, including scope, timeline, length, and any other pertinent information.

    • "What's included in the project fee?"

      The fee includes:

      • Meetings
      • Research
      • Deliverable(s) - according to our contract
      • Up to two sets of revisions
      • Travel (for local clients)

    • "What do you need from us to get started on our project?"

      • Letter of Agreement and Deposit
        Before I begin working on your project I will send you a Letter of Agreement (LOA) outlining the project scope as we've discussed as well as the total fee. I will need the LOA signed and faxed back. I also require 50% of the project fee to begin work.
      • Informational Brief
        I'll need some information about your project, including the product or service, target audience and goal. I also need information about your company and how the project supports the mission of your organization. To gather this information, I will provide you with a form to fill out and return via email, mail or fax. We can also discuss the form over the phone.

    • "What is your policy for revisions?"

      I include two sets of revisions in the project fee. Revisions must be requested within 30 days of your receipt of the final draft and cannot include a change in scope or format. In the event that it is necessary, I am happy to revise the copy.

    • "Do you also do editing?"

      Yes. If you prefer to write your copy in-house and have me review and edit it, I am happy to help.

    • "How do I pay you?"

      At this time, the accepted method of payment is by check. Check back soon for additional payment options.

    • "What is your payment policy?"

      After agreeing on the project scope and fee, an initial deposit equal to half (50%) of the project fee is required. Within 30 days or upon receipt of the final draft (whichever comes first), I will invoice you for the remaining balance. Payment is due within 15 days after receipt of the invoice. Payment terms will be clearly outlined with your estimate.

    • "Do you implement sustainable business practices?"

      Absolutely. As a copywriter and social entrepreneur there are several practices that I implement to do my part:

      • All of my business cards and collateral are printed on 100% recycled, post consumer paper.
      • Web services such as Freshbooks and EchoSign allow me to run an almost paperless office.
      • Most client meetings and communications are conducted via email, telephone or chat.
      • I believe in giving back. That's why 3% of all profits are donated to an environmental or social cause.
