Arden’s Garden Offers Health Classes in Time for Spring
By Janelle Allen
As spring approaches, a phenomenon occurs in many homes around the country: Spring Cleaning. The sun’s radiance inspires many of us to get out into the garage, shed or yard and begin clearing away clutter and debris. But what of the clutter and debris in our own bodies? Oftentimes, New Year’s resolutions get off to a slow start: the exercise schedule we were going to begin…that favorite unhealthy snack we were going to give up…the list goes on and on. Sometimes we just don’t know where to start. Fortunately, Arden’s Garden is now in Kirkwood to help kickstart your new healthy lifestyle.
Arden’s Garden specializes in freshly squeezed juice, frozen smoothies and all-natural snacks. With their products in Publix, Whole Foods and Kroger, Arden’s Garden is already well known in the Atlanta area. However, some people are unaware that Arden’s Garden also provides instructional classes on cleansing and juice fasting. Company founder and nutritional expert, Arden Zinn, teaches the Cleanse Classes at four of the five Atlanta locations. The classes cover information on how to lose weight, increase energy, prevent illness and detoxify your body through all-natural means. Classes begin on March 11 and 12 and are held at different times depending on the location. There is a Sunday series and a Monday series, each consisting of three meetings, for a total of twenty-one days. Each participant receives an instructional booklet and a voucher that entitles him/her to fresh juice for the twenty-one days of instruction, in addition to other information and materials.
For those who might not be ready for the Cleanse Class, Arden’s Garden carries all-natural and organic snacks. In addition to being quite tasty, many of the snacks are raw, unprocessed foods that provide the body with enzymes and nutrients needed to properly digest vitamins and minerals. The juice at Arden’s Garden is also all-natural, without preservatives or additives. You won’t find any high fructose corn syrup or yellow #5 in any of their juice, only freshly pressed nectar from wholesome fruit and vegetables. In fact, when purchased in their stores, Arden’s Garden juice is not pasteurized, ensuring that those healthy enzymes and nutrients are still present. It is reassuring to know that in an age of disease, obesity and misinformation, it really is possible to look good and feel great--right here in Kirkwood.
